Biography

Chloe-May is a London based actress who has been performing ever since see can remember, she always knew that it was something she wanted to pursue as a career.

 

Her performing started at the age of 4 when she was in a gymnastic squad that toured England. At the age of 7 she changed tack and started dancing in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz. After a couple of years she knew that she wanted to be a dancer and was determined to be successful at it.

 

At the age of 9 she was diagnosed with dyslexia and had to change school that had specialized teachers. The school also specialized in performing arts. Quickly she began joining after school activities such as dance classes, singing classes and of course acting classes. She started to realize she was good at all three, but acting became her favorite and the one she started to excel in. Throughout her school life she performed in school plays, talent competitions and exams.

 

After leaving school she studied acting at Guildford College for 2 years.

 

In 2008 she was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work at Disneyland Paris where she played Wendy from Peter Pan, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and many more and danced in the parades. The 4 months she lived in Paris were some of the best days of her life and she learnt a lot about herself and what she wanted to be. 

 

In the Spring of 2009 she started at a college called PPA (Performance Preparation Academy) to further her study in Acting and Musical Theatre. In the two years she was at PPA she took 1 LCM singing exam, 2 Trinity drama exams, LAMDA level 3 certificate and ATCL teaching exam. She graduated in June 2010 with a diploma in Acting and Musical Theatre.

 

Since leaving PPA she has been lucky enough to have had the chance to work professionally in the business and has had the privilege to work alongside some amazing people.

 

Through agent representation she has worked in TV, stage and film.

 

Chloe-May has recently finished filming for a feature film 'A Reason to Leave' and is due to set off to LA in October...
